I built their current website 7 years ago (drupal 6), and now I am building the next version. This project is more than a responsive redesign, it means an important strategy shift to become a digital-first publishing platform.
My contribution:
- Drupal 8.1 site with a new content model.
- Prototyping in the browser.
- Theme build with sass and npm scripts.
- Content migration with migration API.

This is a personal project. A webapp to facilitate bulk order management for small food producers and food coops. There are some existing apps already, but none is mobile first, and they usually try to do too much. Not live yet, but it it is looking great and I already have a few clients waiting for it.
My contribution:
- Laravel 5.2 app with unit testing.
- Vue.js component for order collection.
- MVP definition, focusing on order workflow.
- Paper prototyping and user testing.

Judith is my partner in life so this can be considered a project-in-law. It started as a simple personal brand blog but it evolved into a multilingual set of landing pages for courses and retreats.
My contribution:
- Jekyll site: composed one-page landings, multilingual tweaks, hosted on GitHub Pages with the built in sass preprocessing.
- Stripe integration: simple checkout using heroku-stripe-checkout on the backend and uptime robot monitoring.
- Simple Free SSL and caching powered by CloudFlare.
- Personal Branding: define key messaging without being too genral while serving as a hub for different activities.

During the years I spent at UNICEF, conversion optimization was a constant process. We went through several redesigns and implementations. In 2014 we started doing A/B testing on different layouts and contents to determine the best variations. Custom web analytics implementation was also required to evaluate the different acquisition channels. We also developed new web services</stong> to facilitate the process to recurring donors.
My contribution:
- Several A/B tests to understand key conversion drivers.
- Wireframes for different steps and variations.
- Web Analytics implementation with custom tracking pixels.
- Web Service definition and client implementation for form prepopulation based CRM data.

In 2013 we launched a responsive site for the main fundraising campaign. Being a mobile-first project in included experimental multi-step forms for donation and pledge donors and the option to donate by SMS. It was a very successful campaign that exceeded the fundraising goals.
My contribution:
- Detailed wireframes and workflows for multi-step forms.
- Analytics implementation with custom events.
- CRM integration with in-house webservice.
- Quality Assurance and acceptance tests.

Digital products like eCards and Inspiring Gifts became very important for UNICEF eCommerce in the early 2000. We designed and implemented these products from scratch, not only the purchase and personalization workflows but also CRM integration, in-house processes and collaboration with third party printing services. The store site has been rebuilt since then, but digital products are still based on the original design.
My contribution:
- Detailed wireframes with Balsamiq Mockups.
- UML diagrams for workflow design.
- CRM integration with in-house webservice.
- User testing for workflow fine tuning.
